Join us for a Low Tide Adventure. Knowledgeable volunteers lead kids and their families through the rocky shorelines at low tide where they have hands-on experience with teeny-tiny animals and plants.
Follow a docent leading a school group up to the reconstructed Lime Kiln to learn how workers made powdered lime from limestone rocks all while on a mission to learn how to “Leave No Trace Behind” and to protect our valuable State and National Parks.
Our Volunteers and Docents work tirelessly to support education at Lime Kiln State Park every day. We need your help to afford the printed educational materials such as charts, diagrams, simple printed notebooks, and critter drawings on paper to color. These take-away reminders of wonderful learning experiences will last for years to come. This campaign asks for your support to create those educational materials. Since we do not charge for the classes or materials, please be generous in your support of our education mission. Please lend your support now! Thank you, FOLKS
